MY STORY
Hello! My name is Chloe and I have always had a strong passion for animals and their needs. I completed my animal care diploma at Brooksby college back in 2009. As a young girl I have grew up with dogs in the family home along with horses from the age of twelve. At the age of seventeen along came champagne truffle my own horse! I have had the pleasure of watching truffle grow from a tiny foal into a beautiful horse. Then when moving into my own home it did not feel right without a dog, so along came max a rescue Staffordshire x beagle he was found dumped on the streets, we were blessed with five amazing years with max but unfortunately, he became very poorly very suddenly in 2019 he sadly went over rainbow bridge. Along came 12week old Narla a Staffordshire bull terrier who has taught me so much, she certainly come with many challenges learning ways to deal with her boisterous behaviour as a young puppy to her reactive behaviour as an adolescent due to a dog attack, we have grown and learnt together by attending many training and scent work classes. Now having over 20years experience with a multitude of different breeds of dogs and horses I felt now was the right time to begin my adventure with Hodgson's Hounds.

As the creator of Hodgson’s Hounds, I would like to introduce the services that I can provide along with peace of mind that your beloved pet will be treated as a member of my family.
Being fully insured, DBS checked, and first aid trained, I am offering tailored dog walking sessions with flexible slots (subject to availability) focusing on 1-1 or same household rather than large group walks. My aim is to provide walks that meet your pets’ specific requirements whilst physically and mentally stimulate your dog(s).

Pop in visits

Do you have a new puppy or an elderly dog? Or do you work long hours? Or you are going out for the evening and your dog does not like to be left alone. No problem I can help with this. I am available to provide you are your animals with love and care along with mental stimulation. All my visits whether that will be once or twice a day will consist of toilet breaks, cleaning any accidents that may have happened, fresh water and feeding if required. I will also provide you with photos or video updates of my time spent with your loved ones.

For those owners that may not have access to transportation or just looking for an extra helping hand to make life a little easier, trips to the vets and groomers can be arranged along with delivery of heavy food bags/ treats for your special furry friend.

Are you going on holiday or just need an extra pair of hands? I can help with this, whether that will be mucking out, poo picking, changing rugs, turning out and bringing in. whilst your horse/s are in my care they will be treating like my own with loving care. I have over 20 years’ experience and have managed a wide range of horses along with all their quirks. Whilst your horse/s are in my care you will receive photos and video updates to put your mind at ease whilst you are away from them.
